Why the sites say Eight Mile
Afenia is the small-business studio of Eight Mile, a London engineering company. Same people, same company, two doors: Eight Mile takes the infrastructure and enterprise work, Afenia takes the apps and websites for founders and small businesses. So when a site we built credits Eight Mile, that is us.
A site that does the job the business needs done
Quotes, bookings, orders, a menu, a price list, a way to get in touch. Each of these is a business that described what it needed, and got that.
Things we built because we wanted them to exist
A job finder, two directories, a document API, a PDF editor, an SEO auditor, an inbox, a configuration portal. If your idea is a product rather than a site, this is the shape of work it becomes — and we have run every one of these in production ourselves.
Most of these people arrived with a paragraph and a worry
A trade, a treatment menu, a shop, an idea for a product — and a vague sense of what the site should do about it. Working out what the thing actually is comes first, and it is the part we are best at.
